Tomas Roales y Requeña (Statue at Amaya Beach Kusiong, Datu Odin Sinsuat Maguindanao)

Tomas Roales y Requeña a Spanish Army Sergeant who was sent here in the Philippines in 1859. His first assignment was with the Spanish military garrison in Jolo, Sulu. There he married a native Joloana and had a child. Unfortunately, both his wife and his son died during a cholera outbreak in Jolo.

After losing them, he asked to be transferred to the garrison in the Spanish naval port of Parang, Cotabato. He then started buying pieces if land in what are now known Making and Laandasan from the municipality of Parang, Maguindanao.

When the Spanish fleet was defeated in 1898 at the Battle of Manila Bay which effectively ended the Spanish Rule in the Philippines, he retired from military service; but because of his properties, he chose to stay in the Philippines.

In 1908, he had his first-degree nephews (sons of his brother Juan Roales: Antonio, Manuel, Juan and Tomas) with him working on his farm; and in 1914, three more of his nephews arrived from Spain. He visited his relatives in Spain in the year 1936, but came back to the Philippines sick. He died in April 28, 1936 and was buried at the Catholic Cemetery of Cotabato.

Señor Tomas Roales y Requeña stayed in the Philippines even after the conclusion of the Hispano-American was at the end of the nineteenth century where they chose to contribute to the development of Cotabato in the fields of agriculture and business.

Bubuludtua Falls in Barira, Maguindanao, Philippines

As we visit the beautiful nature of Barira, Maguindanao.

We explore the Bubuludtua Falls in Barangay Nabalawag.

Bubuludtua is a Iranon terms, which means rainbow. They called it Bubuludtua because in Aerial View using drone you can see the rainbow in the Falls.

This is the most adventure trip ive done before in my whole life.

You need to cross 8 rivers before you can get on the falls and climb 9 upland areas. This is so much fun in this adventure.

A picture above is the place where you can view the whole Parang and Barira. This is the place where you can start trekking.

The first river we encountered. In my back you will see how is it hard to cross in that rivers flow. (Kung mahina ang loob at paa mo talagang tatangayin ka ng malakas na agos ng tubig) but this is the trill and adventure. You can't call adventure if you dont feel this.

After 1 hour and 30minutes of trekking, crossing rivers and hikking we are now partly close to the Bubuldutua Falls. This is what i like in this adventure is you need to sacrifice your all things just to finish and see the falls that you want to captured.

A selfie with Bubuludtua Falls here in Barira, Maguindanao. Yes! Finally we are here.

And by the way guys, in this trek, the tourism officer and the Mayor of Barira, Maguindanao were joined and tour us in this falls. We are so honored. (Shukran, Salamat, Thankyou)

Now! This is it!
THE BUBULUDTUA FALLS with the measurement of 200 feet in height surrounded by big rocks and very green environment.

The water is so cold as compared to the falls i visited. We are enjoying the moments.

You can post a dramtic pose here.

So hope you enjoy your visit in my page.

Residence of Hashim Salamat

Late Ustadz Hashim Salamat ay isang bayani at matatawag nating savior of moro people in Mindanao.
